BIO:
Tyler Dempsey is a professional drummer and educator from Clarks Summit, PA. He studied jazz performance at New Jersey City University and went on to tour and perform with some of the area’s most respected musicians. Tyler has shared the stage with artists such as; David Liebman, Bob Dorough, Marko Marcinko, Bill Washer, Tony Marino, Jesse Lynch, Jon Ballantyne, Matt Vashlishan, Porter & Sayles, etc. Tyler is the house drummer at the Historic, Deer Head Inn Jazz jam sessions and can be heard every Friday and Saturday night at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, at the Mohegan Sun Casino. He also appears on “Skies Above” off of Aaron Fink’s (formerly of Breaking Benjamin) solo release, “Galaxies,” on the Woodhenge Records label.
